Soldati AG built a fully automated system tailored to customer needs that rolls coins into coin paper, places them in cartons, and palletizes them. In between, various processes such as weighing, marking, straightening, clamping, sealing, banding, and labeling are carried out—for every coin roll and every carton.

The system can process all 7 denominations of Swiss circulation coins: 5, 10, 20, and 50 rappen, as well as 1, 2, and 5 franc coins.

The production process is as follows ...

Coin roll preparation:

• Coins of various denominations are processed into coin rolls.
• These coin rolls are checked for weight and approved for the next stage of the process.

Carton Preparation:

• The flat cardboard blanks are folded in the carton erector.
• After folding, the carton is sealed by a stapling unit so that it remains stable and is ready for filling.

Packing into Coin Cartons:

• The inspected coin rolls are packed into prepared cartons.
• The cartons are strapped and labeled.
• The cartons undergo another weight check to ensure that the correct weight has been packed.

Transfer Process:

• The packed cartons are transported via a conveyor system to the palletizing station.
• The cartons are then labeled and inspected by camera.

Palletizing:

• The cartons are then stacked onto pallets.
• These pallets are prepared for shipment and transported out of the facility.
• Custom palletizing patterns.
